AELA cohort nominees should meet the following criteria:

  • Has professional experience in the following areas of focus: Music Production & Engineering, Digital Media & Visual Arts, Film & Television Media, Business Development & Finance, and/or Fashion & Cosmetology

  • Has an interest in teaching and pouring into youth ages 12-18

  • Demonstrates a willingness to share leadership with others

  • Has a strong desire to learn and has a teachable spirit

  • Is in a position to implement plans for growth in their personal and professional life

  • Can participate fully as a part of his/her job

  • Is personally active in their art form
